6. Day 6: There Is Nothing Wrong
Thank you for the ongoing miracle of “THERE IS NOTHING WRONG”. I must have said it a hundred times in the last couple of days. When this beautiful phrase announced itself in my consciousness a few weeks back, we were having a party for our directors in the afternoon at 4pm. We were also in the throws of preparing to drive to LA for business the next morning. I had followed my inner guidance that morning to do nothing for the party until noon, thereby giving myself a blissful and much needed quiet time. Somehow I had sent conflicting emails to everyone because each person...

I have been buoyed and transported to a new place with the revelation of “THERE IS NOTHING WRONG”. I keep finding juicy quotes that are making me wonder if it is time I took off the knitted scarf of tiredness and create something different. These are just some of the quotes that have me all a flutter: “As we are architects of our reality with the power to rearrange the atoms of matter itself, what problem cannot be solved and what solutions could possibly be beyond our reach?”—-p. XV introduction “For centuries, there have been people who refused to...

Our daughter is studying abroad for her fall term and leaves for the UK today. She will be in Bath but will stay in London a few days to acclimatize, then spend some lovely days with good friends in Norfolk and Sheffield (A BIG thank you to Dan and Louise!!). This study abroad has led rather neatly to the obvious next step. I must go to London. Or rather WE must go to London. My tiredness however is no longer my own, it has spilled over into my household and after finding ourselves utterly and completely spent after months and years of non stop living, my husband and I both have decided...

I have been aware of my mantra of tiredness for weeks. My daily blogging has allowed me to see just how constantly I affirm this. I had a very full week last week and needed a 20 min nap between appointments. Just as I laid down this phrase came to me, like a feather floating up in front of me: “My tiredness is a knitted scarf. It is beautiful, intricate and well made. Yet it is 120 degrees. What now?” I fell into a deep albeit short sleep. I woke feeling refreshed and couldn’t get the image of my tiredness as knitted scarf out of my head. The next morning, in...

I notice immediately that if my bedfellow, tiredness, is going to get out of bed then I must connect to something deeper, truer, more whole that tiredness allows me to feel. For this reason I am returning to another practice gleaned from my Voice for Love ministerial study and the Five Steps to Hearing Gods Voice. Step 1 is Extend love to your thoughts. Step 2 is Feel the Holy Spirit. I remembered how incredible the first times I became aware of Holy Spirit as a feeling, or feelings. I feel as if, perhaps, I have drifted away from that tangible remembrance of feeling Holy Spirit and am...

In my recent post Tiredness Is A Tunnel To Truth I wrote of my ever present companion tiredness. I have been noticing how often I say or think “I’m tired” or “I am exhausted” or the after-hours version “I’m pooped” or knackered, without oxygen, dead, flat or fried. It is all some version of *NOT* living in light, abundance and joy. As I neared the end of my month of extending love to EVERY DAY I couldn’t help but notice the other EVERY DAY in my life was tiredness. Or was it? This month I am devoting to extending love to FEAR AS...
