When I am in a hurry, or tired or just plain curious. I will ask Holy Spirit a question and then just flip open a sacred text or favorite spiritual tome to see if a perspective or deepening opens up in me. (To be honest this works even when I use the comics because the power is in the asking and the noticing.) I asked Holy Spirit to share what the letting go energy was and how I can use/see it and this passage in NTI leapt out at me:
“Look upon your gift and rejoice. It is an expression given by you. Its’ purpose is your own joy. Accept it is joy and it is joy that you shall know.”—NTI 1 Tim 5 p.379
Wow! Letting go is a gift! Letting go is an expression given by me. Letting go’s purpose is my own joy! Letting go is joy and freedom. Accept letting go in joy and it is joy I will know. Wow, I have never been so delighted to notice, recognize and dive into letting go.
Me: How/what can I welcome this joy in letting go today?
HS: Precious One,
I love you and am with you in letting go as I am with you in all things. Today, let go your feeling of responsibility for the happiness of others. Let go your responsibility of happiness for all. Allow each moment time to present its gifts, awareness and guidance. No need to march ahead armed with plans, lists and ideas. Everyone has everything they need. If they don’t and it is in your power to help, they will ask.
Allow the day to unfold in beauty and diligence for it is a great field of fragrant flowers. Take time to notice, enjoy and revel in this day. Trust in your guidance re food and activity. All is unfolding with meticulous grace and care.

I am with you in all things. You are with me in all things. Let Go. Let God GO!
Note: Yesterday I let go of an overreaction (panic & judgment simply melted into the new stream of letting go energy); figuring out how to squeeze in a manicure before guests arrived; belief in not enough time (time stretched miraculously and effortlessly)
