5. Day 11: Mary Magdalene Within

I am glorying in the book “Mary Magdalene Within” a beautiful voice who is the spirit of Mary Magdalene  speaking from within the writer, Joan Norton .  It is less important whether or not you can wrap you mind around this idea that a voice from the heart of another from long ago can speak again today.  Instead, wrap your heart around this incredibly beautiful teaching and just let it caress you tenderly.  You need not think about it at all.   Here are just a few gems I must share: “Enlightenment had been taught as individual and [Jesus’] offering to the world...

5. Day 10: He Walks With Me

My sweetheart has joined me on my morning walk (he runs ahead, then back, and runs ahead again) and now I have both quiet time and company.  At first I was worried I would end up talking (talking…..talking….) but thankfully, since it is yet early when we walk  and we are both in the slow of the day, I still experience that quiet I need so. EVERY DAY I get to walk with myself (and now my husband) and our Holy Self is here too.  The nature of our morning time really speaks to my heart in a healing and whole way.  This quote from the wonderful Mary Magdalene Within (a beautiful...

5. Day 9: You Are Love-Able EVERY DAY

It feels like I have barely had time to look directly at my fear of EVERY DAY.  I have been walking every day (to be honest I did miss one day due to traveling but let the joy of letting go allow that to be exactly perfect sans guilt of any kind).  I feel something important is creeping into my periphery, I can feel it’s presence but can’t quite see it. Me:  What would you like to tell me about EVERY DAY and why I fear it or want to argue with it (or ignore it or even flatly refuse it?) HS:  Precious One, Thank you for taking time to be with your willingness in this way.  Your...

5. Day 8: Go Difficult. Go Deep.

I am so happy to be here this morning for a “normal” quiet time, in the morning dark, tea and willingness at hand.  I feel I have been stretched over the past months to include more of me–more time, more ways to feel connected, more ways to practice willingness (in letting go, EVERY DAY and extending love to fear of guilt, depression and commitment).  Thank you for this.  I have performed my first wedding ceremony, seen my first child graduate from university and celebrated the return from near death of my cousin’s child (now delightfully engaged as well).  We broke...

5. Day 7: A Teaspoon Of Eternity

5. Day 7: A Teaspoon Of Eternity

My walk this morning was another day of “just doing it”.  The movement, breathing and increased heart rate did seem to bring me back to life a bit after waking feeling tired.  Here is something I noticed, I didn’t spend any time deciding whether to walk or not.  the decision was made back at the beginning with these two words:  EVERY DAY. Every day is seeming less and less onerous.  I am glimpsing that EVERY DAY is a teaspoon of eternity. Just enough to give us a taste but not so much to overwhelm. This quote I read recently in the wonderful novel by Jaqueline Winspear...
